This chapter seeks to make an economic case for investing in “greening” the waste sector and it aims to provide policy makers with guidance on how to mobilise such investment.
It demonstrates how green investment in the waste sector can create jobs and contribute to economic growth, while addressing environmental issues, in a pro-poor and equitable manner.
