The report draws attention to an often overlooked and yet significant climate change contributor: organic wastes. By managing these properly, nearly one quarter of this alarming shortfall can be met.By treating and recycling all other unavoidable organic wastes through anaerobic digestion, a ready-to-use technology, we can prevent those methane emissions and generate biogas, biofertilisers, bio-CO2 and other valuable bio-products. Put simply, we can turn a waste management issue into a resource.
